The cask strength program at Lost Whiskey Club is very discerning, with only our best barrels chosen for bottling. Since each one is still a single barrel, straight bourbon, it’s even more important these barrels be near perfect. There is no filtering or proofing with water. It goes in the bottle exactly as it was in the barrel. Proofing around 120, these are full flavored wheated bourbons with heavy notes of caramel, and baking spice. They carry a long, clean finish that is incredibly smooth for a barrel proof bourbon. This is the way nature intended.
